Mary Cecilia (Bresser) Young
April 14, 1928 ~ October 3, 2024

Mary Cecilia Bresser Young was born April 14, 1928 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Herman and Lillie Willis Bresser. She passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Mary graduated from Muskogee Central H.S. with the class of 1946 and attended St. Mary's College of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana where she majored in art. In later years, she studied art at Bacone College in Muskogee under the direction of Dr. Richard West, Sr. In 1950, she married Revere A. Young and together they shared a nearly 40-year military career. Mary and Revere had two children, Lillian Diane and Robert Mark.

Mary was predeceased by her parents; her son, Rober Mark; and her husband, Revere.

She is survived by her daughter, Lillian (Lillie) Diane and her husband, Gene Pittman of Tahlequah.

Services for Mary were held at 11AM, Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
