Joseph Ancil "Jody" Pease, Jr.

Jan. 9, 1926 ~ Dec. 28, 2008

Memorial services for Joseph Ancil Pease, Jr. (Jody), 82, of Muskogee, OK will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home with Joe Wofford officiating.

Born Jan. 9, 1926 the son of Joseph A. Pease, Sr. and Josephine (Hammer) Pease, he died Sunday Dec. 28, 2008 at Tahlequah, OK after a short illness.

Jody met the love of his life, Francis Lasley, at Chilocco Indian School and they married on Oct. 7, 1948. To this union was born a son, Ronald (Ronnie) Pease.

Jody served in the Navy and Air Force and retired from Corning Glass.

Preceding him in death are his mom and dad; wife Francis; brothers Horace, Lee Roy, William K., Clinton Dee; sister Mary Jane Webb; and mother-in-law Mary Lasley.

He is survived by son Ronnie; grandson Jody John; great grandchildren Logan B. and Alauna Pease; one sister Arnetas Sparks of Mo.; and favorite sisters-in-law Doris Ann and Marge Lasley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
