Ann Kuykendall passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on February 2, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, after recently celebrating her 92nd birthday. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Bob Kuykendall, her two children Gary Kuykendall and Dessa Weber, and her five grandchildren, David Weber Jr, Kristin Novotny, Robert Weber, Kaitlin Rand, and Grace Weber.
Ann was raised in Oklahoma City and as a child enjoyed spending time on her Bonnewell family farm. Ann was a strong, upstanding, and devoted member of her community, from her bridge club to the bell choir at her church, Ann loved Muskogee. Her most notable accomplishment was serving on the national board of the Tennessee Walking Horse Association. Her love affair with horses began early in life, and she started showing horses in the 1970s winning several Supreme Championships. Through her dedication, she was able to travel all over the United States, Canada, and Germany showing and judging the horses she loved so much. She is now in heaven taking her parents, family, and friends for a trail ride, on her prized horse, Good Friday K.
Funeral services will be held in the Rowsey Chapel at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Muskogee on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 11:00AM. Services under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
