Alma Capps, 75, of Warner, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020. She was born January 8, 1945 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Levi and Seletha (Sells) Capps.
Alma was a devoted Christian that believed in living out her faith for the world to see. She truly impacted everyone she encountered along the way! If anyone knew Alma they know she was all about her children and grandchildren making lifelong memories with them, good and not so good. Because she had to work outside of the home she chose to be a CNA, beautician and a prison guard. Everyone in the prison called her mam and Judge Judy. They loved her but she wouldn't put up with their nonsense.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Roy Ashby, Jr., brothers, and sister, Arvie Lee Capps, Ray Capps, Geraldine Shackelford, and Leon Capps. She is survived by children, James Green and Stacey, Timothy Ashby and Lila, Matthew Ashby and Laura, Robyn Settles and Troy, Stephanie Capps and Mercedes Ashby; daughter-in-law, Michelle Ashby; brothers, Charles Capps, Chester Capps, Jerry Capps and Larry Capps and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Bradley-Foster-Petering Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2020 at Bradley Belltower Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
