William Dean Thompson

June 17, 1931 ~ March 27, 2011

Funeral services for William Dean Thompson, 79, of Oktaha, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marion Graves officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.

William Dean Thompson was born June 17, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK the son of Joseph and Alice (Tackett) Thompson and died March 27, 2011 in Oktaha. He married Oletha McCoy November 28, 1980 in Tucson, AZ. He served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Thompson was a pipe fitter and a member of the Local Pipe Fitters #430. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty one years, Oletha of the home; two step-sons, Joe McCoy of California and Ernie McCoy of Oktaha; one brother, Neil Thompson of Muskogee, OK; one sister, Betty Lee Morris of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a special friend Kenneth Carter of Manford,
