March 7, 1966 ~ March 12, 2023

Donald Lee 'Don' Sellers, Jr., 57, of Nashville, TN was born March 7, 1966, in Muskogee, OK to Don Sr. and Margaret (Cobb) Sellers and passed from this life on Sunday, March 12, 2023, in Nashville.

Don grew up and attended Muskogee Schools, graduating with the class of 1984. He furthered his education, receiving a bachelor's degree in environmental management.

Don joined the Oklahoma National Guard on February 3, 1987, and was honorably discharged on February 2, 2001.

Don married his best friend Brenda Schoonover on October 26, 1985, in Muskogee where they made their home until 1999. Don and Brenda moved to Nashville, TN. He worked for Adient, an auto seating manufacturer, as an Information Technology Service and Solutions Analyst.

His hobbies included coaching his boys in baseball and football, when they were little, watching NASCAR and was an avid Oklahoma Sooners Football fan. He enjoyed studying history, playing darts and golf. He and Brenda loved to attend concerts.

Don greatest passion was his family. He will be missed by many.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald Sellers, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Brenda of the home; sons, Stefan Sellers, of Knob Noster, MO, and Ramsey Sellers, of Manchester, TN; mother, Margarett Sellers, of Muskogee, OK; brothers, Chip Sellers and wife, Torrie of Fort Gibson, OK, Joe Sellers and wife, Kim, of Coweta, OK, Chancey McMillin and wife, Brittani, of Madison, MS; granddaughter Addelaine Jane Sellers, of Knob Noster, MO; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Sellers and wife, Sarah, Kaitlyn Teague, Sarah Sellers, Blake Sellers, Emily Sellers, Declan Schoonover, Cierra Schoonover, Glen and Ben Schoonover; extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be noon-7PM Friday, March 17, 2023, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson with Don's family receiving friends, 5PM-7PM. A service celebrating Don's life will be held 10:30AM, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with Dorothy Bullard officiating. Chip Sellers, Joe Sellers, Stetson Sellers, Ramsey Sellers, Chansey McMillin and Darren Thomas serving as casket bearers. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee, OK with full military honors being observed.

The family of Donald Lee Sellers, Jr. has entrusted his care, service and burial to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson. 918-478-2555.
