Kathryn (Smoth) Thornton West
August 16, 1940 ~ June 26, 2022

Kathryn Thornton West, 81, passed on June 26, 2022, in Adair, Oklahoma. She was born in Chouteau, Oklahoma on August 16, 1940, to Jack Smith and Nancy Ellen Dollison. She went to Roger State College and got an associate degree in social broadcasting. On July 3, 2006, Kathryn married Vernon Tommie West. She enjoyed Gardening, Traveling, and going to church and loved spending quality time with her family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her two husbands; father, Jack Smith; mother, Nancy Ellen Dollison; and ten of her siblings.

She is survived by, Shirley and husband Danny Mathews, Kenwood; Linda and Tuffy Benham, Salina; James and Nancy Thornton, Peggs, Trenda Thornton, Robert Thornton, Locust Grove; grandchildren, Glenn and Angela Cleveland, Ronnie Moore and Kristina Graham, Joshua Thornton, John Garrett and Katie Beth Hamill, Jared and Rob Hamill, Keely Marlin, Robby Thornton, eleven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her brother Elmer Parker, Cheslea.
