Carrie Ellen Ware was born May 1, 1955 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Billy Joe and Flossie Melinda (Farris) Lane. She passed away August 29, 2019 at her home in Sparks at the age of 64.
Carrie enjoyed traveling and would often just get in her car and drive. She enjoyed her flower beds as well as gambling in casinos, betting on horse races and flying her birds. She loved being “The Granny” to Taylor, and watching “Married at First Site” with Courtney whom she was very proud of for going to college. Carrie loved her family beyond measure.
Carrie is preceded in death by her parents, Billy & Flossie Lane; grandparents, Charlie Lane, Linnie (Green) Lane, Authur Benjamin Ferris, Mary Elisabeth (Chesser) Ferris; sister, Sherry Lane; brother, William ‘Billy’ Don Lane; and her husband, Boyd Ray Bogle. Survivors include her daughter, Amber Dawn Shelby of the home; (2) grandchildren, Courtney RaEllen Shelby, Taylor Lane Linder; siblings, Mary Jo Lane, Larry Jay Lane, Terry Allen Lane, Debbie Jean Crawford, Aline Trusdale; special uncle, Tommy Ferris; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 from Noon to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow at 2:00 pm in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
