Annabel Lee (Cargill) Miller
September 3, 1932 ~ April 14, 2023

Annabel Lee (Cargill) Miller, 90, of Fort Gibson, OK was born September 3, 1932, in Milburn, OK to L.E. and Hessie Lee (Sliger) Cargill and peacefully passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, in Claremore, OK.

Annabel received her education in Gore, OK, graduating in 1950. She then enlisted in the United States Air Force on April 12, 1951, proudly serving her Country until December 1, 1952. Annabel worked for the United States Postal Service retiring as a Post Master. She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with her family and friends, and she also loved to read. Annabel loved basketball, and especially cheering on the Fort Gibson Tigers, rarely missing a game. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Fort Gibson. Annabel was a dual member in the American Legion and Auxiliary Post 20 in Fort Gibson, always serving and donating her time to help in any way. She had an infectious laugh and loved to visit with everyone. Annabel will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Annabel is lovingly survived by her sons, Robert Miller and wife, Linda of Owasso, OK and Randall Miller of Tahlequah, OK; daughters, Donna Mallory and husband, Larry of Foyil, OK and Tracey Smith and husband, Tim of Fort Gibson, OK; sister, Noveta Walker and husband, Jerry of Porter, OK; sister-in-law, Mary Cargill of Wagoner, OK; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren with two on the way; extended family and many friends.

Annabel is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randall Cargill; grandson, Bobby Miller; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Miller.

A celebration of Annabel's life will be 10:30AM Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Fort Gibson Church of Christ with Pastor Randall Miller and Jerry David Walker officiating. Josh Miller, Dallas Cox, Luke Mallory, Darryl Simmons, Jason Pendergraft, and Jared Pendergraft will serve as casket bearers. Committal prayers and interment will follow at 12:30PM in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Military Honors being observed.
