Marvie Willa Dean (Cotton) Barnett

Marvie Willa Dean Cotton Barnett, born September 14, 1928 in Osage, Oklahoma, died February 2, 2021 in Owasso, Oklahoma after a brief illness.

Willa Dean enjoyed singing, baking, traveling, and visiting with friends and family. She was a member of the Daughters of Rebekah and the Red Hat Society. She attended God’s Shining Light Church.

Willa Dean was preceded in death by parents, Uras and Caroline (Callie); brothers, James, and Billy; husbands, Billy, Keith, Charles, and Leroy; son Guy.

She is survived by brothers, Omer, Leroy, and Jessie and wife Millie; sons, Robert and wife Anna Marie, Terry and wife Pamela; 7 grandchildren, Scott, Brady, Callie, Amy, Adam, Keith, and Alison; 15 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Zane, Tanner, Ledger, Zachary, Hannah, Abigail, Alexandria, Braden, Jakob, Noah, Karson, Mason, Katelynn, and Jace; great- great-grandchild Sophia; and many nephews and nieces.

Visitation – Friday, February 19, 2021. 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Chapman-Black Funeral Home, 108 W Delaware St. Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Private graveside service, Ft. Gibson National Cemetery will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Evergreen Care Center at 12600 E 73 St. N, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055.
