Cpl. Gregory Kenneth Arthur was one of 3 Oklahomans killed in Vietnam. Their deaths were reported by the Defense Department on March 25, 1968.
Cpl. Arthur was born October 9, 1946 to his parents , Warren and Edna Arthur and was killed March 18, 1968 while on an intelligence mission. He was a native of Claremore and had graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in Tulsa. He attended Oklahoma State University for two years before enlisting in the U S Marine Corps in 1966.
He had been in Vietnam since September 1967.
