Doyal David Shrum Sr. of Porum, Oklahoma was born December 8, 1945 in Porum to Jess Lee and Rosa Mae (Corbell) Shrum and passed away October 2, 2012 in Porum at the age of 66.
He is survived by his wife, Edna of the home, four daughters, Jessica Mae Shrum Gehle and husband, Robert of Mounds, OK, Wanda Donnell Winters of Muskogee, OK, Vickie Yvonne Butler of Muskogee, OK, Rose McMahan and husband, James of Wagoner, OK, four sons, Doyal David Shrum Jr. and wife Ann Marie of Jay, OK, Paul Lee Shrum and wife, Tori and of Porum, OK, Tommy Joe Thomas and wife, Becky of Muskogee, OK, Sherman Lee Thomas and wife, Winkie, Colcord, OK, two sisters, Cora Lou Mackey of Muskogee, OK, Doris June Penwell of Muskogee, OK, four brothers, Richard Donald Shrum and wife, Lois of Warner, OK, Jerry Lee Shrum of Porum, OK, Joe Edward Shrum and wife, Delores of Antlers, OK, Jess Lee Shrum Jr. and wife, Elizabeth of Sacramento, CA, 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one uncle, Alva Corbell of Muskogee, OK.
Doyal was preceded in death by one brother, Arlie Shrum; two sisters, Bernice Toney and Lorene Harrison and his parents.
Doyal was a member of the Porum Masonic Lodge #351 and he was Bedouin Shriner. He was also a member of the IOUE Union Local #627.
Graveside services will be 10:30 am Monday, October 8, 2012 at Fields
Cemetery-Porum with Rev. Daniel Henson officiating under the direction of
Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
