Melba LaFern "Fern" (Mendenhall) Scheulen
August 18, 1946 ~ November 30, 2020

Melba LaFern (Mendenhall) Scheulen was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 18, 1946 to Fred and Gladys (Black) Mendenhall. She passed away on November 30, 2020 in Porum, Oklahoma at the age of 74.

She is survived by:

Dana Kay Fuller and wife, Carla, of Murfreesboro, TN
Shannon Fuller and wife, Susie, of Porum, OK
Michelle Morgan and husband, Lynn, of Muskogee, OK
Pete Scheulen of Porum, OK
Her grandchildren:
Cassandra Wiedel and husband, Justin, of Porum, OK
Morgan Cowett and husband, Daniel, of Porum, OK
Amanda Morgan and husband, Kyle, of McAlester, OK
Brooke West and husband, Aspen, of Muskogee, OK
Amber Larkin and husband, Alex, of Eufaula, OK
Chris Fuller of Muskogee, OK
Alyssa Fuller of Ft. Gibson, OK
Her great grandchildren:
Ashlynn, Braelynn, Blayze, Ruger, Brinlee, Brantley, Spencer, Grayson, Brynn, Hattley, Brady, Ledger, Khloe, Dakota, and Little Damon
Two brothers:
Freddie Mendenhall and wife, Cindy, of Porum, OK
Kevin Workman of San Francisco, CA

Fern was preceded in death by one son, Damon Sowell; her parents, Fred Mendenhall and Gladys Morgan; and her brothers, David Mendenhall and Stephen Mendenhall.

Viewing will be held at the Mallory Chapel in Porum from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 2 and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 3.

Funeral Services will be held at Porum Assembly of God Church at 10:00 am on Friday, December 4, 2020 with Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Fields Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
