Melba LaFern (Mendenhall) Scheulen was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 18, 1946 to Fred and Gladys (Black) Mendenhall. She passed away on November 30, 2020 in Porum, Oklahoma at the age of 74.
She is survived by:

Fern was preceded in death by one son, Damon Sowell; her parents, Fred Mendenhall and Gladys Morgan; and her brothers, David Mendenhall and Stephen Mendenhall.
Viewing will be held at the Mallory Chapel in Porum from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 2 and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 3.
Funeral Services will be held at Porum Assembly of God Church at 10:00 am on Friday, December 4, 2020 with Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Fields Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
