Joseph R. Neves

September 21, 1927 ~ February 16, 2004

Funeral services for Joseph R. Neves, 76, of Warner, OK will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2004 at Millsap Chapel in Webbers Falls with Reverend Wendell Cox officiating. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery at Porum under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.

Mr. Neves was born September 21, 1927 at Isleton, CA, the son of Frank and Mary (George) Neves and died Monday, February 16, 2004 at Warner.

On November 20,1972 he married Pauline Burks Higgins at Lake Tahoe, NV. She preceded him in death on April 16, 2002. Mr. Neves had lived in the area since 1992. He enjoyed drawing and coloring pictures for the residents at the nursing home and for others.

Survivors include his son, and Dan Neves and wife, Debbie, of Tuolumne, CA; daughter, Debbie Collins and husband, Bo, of Reno, NV; step-daughter, Tina Lozano of Realto, CA; brother, Clarence Neves and wife, Elsie, of Springfield, MO; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Cindy; sisters, Hilda and Josie; step-son, Jimmy Higgins.
