Lorene “Granny” Harrison of Porum, Oklahoma passed away January 7, 2010 in Stigler, Oklahoma at the age of 70. She was born May 23, 1939 in Warner, Oklahoma to Jess and Rosa Mae (Corbell) Shrum.
Lorene is survived by her husband, Dee Harrison of the home, one daughter, Judy Kennedy and husband, John, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, one son, Larry Harrison and wife, April, of Porum, Oklahoma, two sisters, June Penwell of Hoyt, Oklahoma and Cora Mackey of Muskogee, Oklahoma, five brothers, Donald Shrum and wife, Lois, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Jerry Shrum of Porum, Oklahoma, Joe Shrum and wife, Deloris, of Antlers, Oklahoma, Doyal Shrum and wife, Edna, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Jess Shrum and wife, Elizabeth, of Sacramento, California, three grandchildren, Thaddeus Todd of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, Shae Harrison of Porum, Oklahoma and Rosa Harrison of Porum, Oklahoma, two great grandchildren, Redman Glisson Todd, Allison Todd.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Rosa Shrum; one brother, Arlie Shrum and two sisters, Nadine Shrum and Bernice Toney.
Funeral service will be 10 am Monday, January 11, 2010 at First Baptist
Church, Porum, with Rev. Curtis Locust, Jr. and Rev. Daniel Henson
officiating. Burial will follow in Fields Cemetery, Porum, under the
direction of Mallory Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Porum. Viewing will
be at Mallory Chapel, Porum, 10 am to 6 pm Friday & Saturday, and 1 pm to 5
pm Sunday.
