Ray DeFoor

November 20, 1937 ~ February 17, 2022

Ray DeFoor was born in Porum, Oklahoma on November 20, 1937 to Forney Scribner and Minnie Alice (Tidwell) DeFoor. He passed away in Checotah, Oklahoma on February 17, 2022 at the age of 84.

He is survived by:
One daughter:
Valerie Senters and Husband, Anthony, of Checotah, OK
One son:
Bryan DeFoor and wife, Lisa, of Muskogee, OK
One brother:
Phillip DeFoor and wife, Jewel, of Lordsburg, New Mexico
His grandchildren:
Josh Buster and Wife, Sami, of Broken Arrow, OK
Dylan Buster and wife, Carlye, of Broken Arrow, OK
Isabella Bailey and husband, Dakota, of Ponca City, OK
Stephanie Tolland and husband, Steve, of Ponca City, OK
Taylor Ward and spouse, Kaye-Lani of Springfield, MO
Jacob DeFoor of Ponca City, OK
Sister-in-law:
Dorothy Breedlove of Porum, OK

Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye DeFoor; and his parents.

He attended Fairview Baptist Church of Muskogee, OK.

Viewing will be held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler until 7:00 pm on Friday, February 18, 2022; Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 8:00 am to 4 pm; Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm; and Monday, February 21, 2022 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Casket will be closed.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Fields Cemetery in Porum, Oklahoma with Rev. Andy Campbell officiating. Interment is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers: Josh Buster, Dylan Buster, Anthony Senters, and Bryan DeFoor

Bettye (Gray) DeFoor was born in Porum, Oklahoma on December 15, 1939 to Garland and Lucille (Whitley) Gray. She passed away in Muskogee, Oklahoma on November 6, 2020 at the age of 80.

She is survived by:
Her husband, Ray DeFoor, of the home
One daughter:
Valerie Senters and husband, Anthony, of Checotah, OK
One son:
Bryan DeFoor and wife, Lisa, of Muskogee, OK
Her grandchildren:
Joshua Buster of Broken Arrow, OK
Dylan Buster of Broken Arrow, OK
Stephanie Tolland of Ponca City, OK
Isabella DeFoor of Ponca City, OK
Jacob DeFoor of Ponca City, OK
Taylor DeFoor of Ponca City, OK
Her sister:
Dorothy Breedlove of Porum, OK
Numerous nieces, nephews and relatives

Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Lucille Gray and one brother, Womaluke Cox.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Porum Assembly of God Church with Bro. Andy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Fields Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
