Richard (Dick) Keefe

Richard (Dick) Keefe left us all too soon on 3-15-2013 to be with his heavenly father. Born on 8-28-1937 to Richard Sr. and Rose Keefe in Manchester, NH. 

He graduated from Catholic school and went on to learn auto upholstery.  He later moved to several locations before finally landing in Muskogee where he operated a successful upholstery business for 40 plus years. 

In Muskogee he met the love of his life and together they raised 5 children and numerous grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many but not as much as his large family will miss him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Richard Sr. and Rose, brother Art Keefe, two sons John and Doug and Son in Law John Cervantes. 

He is survived by his wife Carol, children Dale Whittington, Tina and Ginna Keefe and Kim Patrick and husband Gabriel, grandchildren Nicole Hill and husband Clay, Greg Winter and wife Stacey, Kristy Hughes, Patrick Whittington, Meagan Whittington, Dylan Eversole, Steven Walker, Hannah Hindsley, Nicholas Heidelberg, Adam Patrick, Brooklyn Patrick and great grandchildren Dalton Hill, Cash Hill, Kaden Hill, Brayden Cooper and Ben Winter. 

He had one special buddy aka as his sidekick Kristy Hughes.

Honorary pallbearers are Dale Ford, Wimpy Lowrance, Tony Dodds, Chad Carlton and Ronnie Berentsen.

Services will be at the Church of God East Shawnee, Muskogee, OK Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with graveside at Ft. Gibson Citizens Cemetery.  A luncheon will follow at Civitan Park. He was our rock, our glue and the thread that held us together, he was our Pops.
