Clark Wayne Barton

 January 22, 1993 ~ July 6, 2012

Clark Wayne Barton was born January 22, 1993 to Roger and Angel (Clark) Barton in Tulsa, Oklahoma and died Friday, July 6th, 2012. He was active in 4-H and FFA and he received the State FFA degree. He graduated from Midway High School in May, 2011 and attended Indian Capital Technology Center where he earned his welding certification. He was employed as a welder at EMI Manufacturing in Haskell. He also worked at Okmulgee Livestock Auction and Baredown Bull Production.

Clark was not just a member of the Barton and Clark families; he was a member of most of the families in the community. He will be remembered for helping anyone that called needing help. He has helped many friends in the area on their farms and ranches. He always had a smile that lit up the room. He made everyone laugh with his funny little quirks and the things that he would say. When it came to his friends, age didn’t matter, they were young and old and everywhere in between. When he wasn’t working, he was hunting, fishing, noodling and muddin in his truck. His life may have been short but he lived it and enjoyed everything that he did.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents Carol Clark, Stanley and Sue Barton and Uncle Gregory Clark.

He is survived by parents Roger and Angel, Brother Grant, Nephew Ryan Barton and Grandfather Harold Clark, of Boynton. Aunts and Uncles LaChelle and Tim Skinner, Jay and Sharon Barton, Ray and Teresa Barton, Larry and Paula Smith. Great uncles and aunts Ronald Gene Clark, Doyle Clark, Edwina Wattenbarger, Maxine May, and Jane Stuck. Cousins Dakota Clark, Autumn Clark, Jamie McIntosh, Jason Lechner, Jordan Lechner and many other family members.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Clark, Joseph Madewell, Brandon Miller, Briar Allen, Matt Youngblood, Ty Pickard, Kory Kaiser. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Allen, Ronnie Ray, Michael Ray, Ike Ray, Wes Pinkston, Howard Dorsey, Cameron Kaiser, Dillon Evans, Nathan Madewell, Zach Lechner, Ethan Harrison, Jason Moss, Jake Hollingshed, Chad Dismang and his friends and extended family at EMI Manufacturing.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Haskell, Oklahoma with Brother Donald Hogue, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Boynton Cemetery under the direction of Dowdy Funeral Home.
