Ricky "Wolfman" Eugene Smith, a resident of Sulphur was born January 6, 1950 in Tyranza, Arkansas to Wiley & Margaret (Shankles) Smith.

He passed away Sunday March 15, 2020 at Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years 2 months and 9 days, following a hard fought battle for the past month and half of his life.

Rick lived in several places before moving to California, where he married the love of his life Joyce Solomon in 1972 in Riverside, California. Rick and Joyce moved to Sulphur in 1978, where they raised their family. Rick worked many hard years as a welder for Halliburton of Davis, V E Enterprises, and Frontier Tanks. He also worked in construction and mechanics. He served in the US Air Force from 1968-1972 and the Reserve Guards from 1979-1981. He was honored to serve as a Scout Master in Sulphur for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Sandy Nevious, Baby brother: David Smith, Mother-in-love: Inez Solomon, Special nephews: Jerry Housley, Tim Housley, and Jon Lower. Brother-in-law: Norton Evans.

Survived by his Wife, Joyce Smith, of Sulphur OK Daughters: Tammie Gibbs & husband Clint, of Lawton, OK; Kimi Smith & wife Christina Smith, of Sulphur, OK Sons: Fred Smith & wife Amy, of Sulphur, OK William (Billy) Smith & wife Heather, of Honey Creek, PA God Daughter, Julie Quainto & husband Pete, of California Grandchildren: KaiLee & Zane Blakeway, of Duncan, OK Chaeli & Ty Pettitt, of Sulphur, OK Chasta Smith, of Sulphur, OK Kailynn Smith, of Florida Makhi Gray, of Sulphur, OK Great Grandchildren: PaizLee Blakeway, RayLynn Blakeway; Thatcher Pettitt, Triton Pettitt Sisters: Gail & Jack Lean, of California Marie & Glen Garrison, of Noble, OK Thursa Evans, of Sulphur, OK Special Sisters: Carol Macy & Family, Toni Lower & Family Many Nieces & nephews who he loved dearly., Pallbearers will be James Rico, Zane Blakeway, Ty Pettitt, Andy Pannell Rick Stultz, and Bryan Lee.

Services will be held Friday March 20, 2020 at 1:00PM at Sulphur United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Jim Shepherd.

Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur Military Honors by US Air Force Honors Team Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at the DeArman Funeral Home in Sulphur.
