Shirley Jo Rucker, a resident of Sulphur was born March 27, 1936 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Lee Andrew & Ida Lou (Collins) Thomas.
She passed away Saturday September 19, 2020 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years 5 months and 22 days.
She was married to Edgar Loyd "Ed" Rucker at Sulphur on October 22, 1951. He preceded her in death April 18, 1989.
She had lived in the Sulphur area all of her life. Shirley attended Sulphur Schools. She had worked as a care giver.
Shirley was also preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survived by her Daughters: Betty Thomas & Brad, of Sulphur, OK Suzie Macy, of Davis, OK Judy Tatum, of Sulphur, OK Shirley Ann Scott, of Sulphur, OK Mandy Sue Rucker, of Sulphur, OK Sons: Billy Rucker & Nancy, of Sulphur, OK Walter Rucker, of Sulphur, OK Edgar Rucker, Jr, of Sulphur, OK Sister: Nancy Gilbreath & Bobby, of Tuttle, OK Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren,
Services will be held Wednesday September 23, 2020 at 1:00PM Graveside - Oaklawn Cemetery officiated by Bill TIttsworth. Arrangements by DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur
