He was married to Jean (McCracken) Parsons at Sulphur on March 21, 1979. He had lived in Sulphur all of his life. Clifford graduated from Sulphur High School and attended East Central University. He had worked at Dolese and for the Park Service before going to work for the US Postal Service where he worked until his retirement. He was a member of Crossway First Baptist Church and the VFW. Clifford was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in tht US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 Sisters: Norma Parsons & Fern Harris 2 Brothers: Dolas Parsons & Vernon Parsons.
Survived by his Wife: Jean Parsons, of Sulphur, OK Daughters: Dianna Parsons of Sulphur, OK Jennifer Wild of Sanger, TX Step-Son: Tommy Owens of Sulphur, OK Sister & brother-in-law: Melva McClure & David, of Sulphur, OK Brother: Bill Parsons of Allen, TX 4 Grandchildren: Jacklyn, Chase, Ashleigh, Josh 4 Great Grandchildren: Carson, Bryden, Journey, Kelen. Pallbearers will be John Wild, Robert Meade, Chase Wild, Tommy Owens, Josh Owens, and Brian Blalock. Honorary Bearers: Don McCracken, Bob Lewis, Waldo Wilson Bill Brown, Frank Albritten, R. E. Hunter
Military Honors by the Fort Sill Honors Team.
The family will receive visitors Friday May 1 from 6pm to 8pm at the Funeral Home
Services will be held Saturday May 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Crossway First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bill Leveridge.
Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home
