Orie Keith Dobbs died May 10, 2016 in Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years 9
months 13 days.
Gravesite services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 14,
2016 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, Oklahoma under the care of Wadley’s Funeral
Service.
Keith was born July 28, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Claude Eugene and
Eunice Marie (Jacob) Dobbs. He was raised in west Oklahoma City, attending
school at Western Heights. Keith worked as a carpenter and a roofer. Keith was
baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born on January 25,
1971 in Oklahoma City by Brother Kenneth Herring. In 1974, he and Ladonna Hays
were united in marriage in Oklahoma City. They made Noble their home after
moving from Stratford. Keith was a Cowboy and loved reenacting old west
gunfights, and cattle drives. He loved history, reading, building things, and
horses. When he traveled, Oregon, Wyoming, Colorado and Montana were his
favorite destinations. He also like to Canoe in Idaho with his church group.
Keith was an avid story teller, and could pull whatever emotions from his
listeners.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bart Dobbs and grandson,
Canaan Arnold.
Survivors include his wife, Ladonna; children, Autumn Dobbs and partner, John Lamb, Nicole Case and spouse, Kurtis, Shelly Mannis and spouse, Bartley, Josh Dobbs and spouse, Valerie, Lori Morgan and spouse, Faron, Caleb Dobbs and spouse, Ari; grandchildren, Toby, Morgan, Jalei, Kami-Jo, Mason, Colton, Hunter, Charity, Channing, CJ, Cole; siblings, Terri Hinnen, Steve Dobbs, Janet Fisher, Missy Dobbs, Gina Hodges, Joy Crowder; and many other relatives and friends.
