Betty Sue was born in Sulphur to Thurman and Nettie (McKinley) Webb. She grew up in Sulphur where she graduated from Sulphur High School. She received her nursing degree from St. Paul School of Nursing in Dallas,Texas. She began her nursing career at the Delay Hospital in Sulphur. She later worked at the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital. She was married to Hubert Cops on December 26, 1953 at Sulphur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Thurman Keith Cops, a sister: Judith Anne Ballenger.
Survivors: husband: Hubert of Sulphur, Daughters & sons-in-law: Katheryn Jean-anne Barnes & Allen of Carrollton, Texas, Susan Marlese Featherston & James of Temple, Texas. Grandchildren: Jonathan Featherston, Katheryn Fondren, Katrina Barnes, and Ashton Barnes, Great grandchildren: Averianna Featherston and Cademon Featherston.
Services: Tuesday September 29 at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church with interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.
