Jackie Dean Babb, a resident of Sulphur was born May 9, 1932 in Gracemont, Oklahoma to Lonnie Guy & Ruby (Miller) Babb. He passed away Saturday June 27, 2020 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years 1 month and 18 days.
Jackie had lived in this area most of his life, graduating from Davis High School. He later graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Masters in Veterinary Science. Jackie served in the US Army from 1953-1956 and in US Air Force Reserves from 1956 to 1961. He was married to Claretta Jo Rackley on December 21, 1954. He owned and operated his own Grade A Dairy, as well as the Sulphur Farm & Ranch Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Claretta, two sons: Randal Ray Babb and Clendon Jay Babb, a sister: Weeta Babb Pittman, and a infant brother: L.G. Babb.
Survived by his Daughter, Beverly & husband Keith, of Sulphur, OK Daughter-in-law, Christy Babb, of Sulphur, OK Grandsons: Chase Blankenship, Carter Babb Cameron Babb Josh Billings & wife Suzy; and Brett Billings Great Grandchildren: Konner, Ella and Owen, Special Friend: Charles Howe.
