Clendon Jay Babb, a resident of Sulphur, was born January 16, 1960 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Jack & Claretta Jo (Rackley) Babb.
He passed away Friday May 6, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years 3 months and 20 days.
He had lived in this area all his life; graduating from Mill Creek High School in 1978. After high school he began working at U.S. Silica. Clendon and Christy McCaskill were married on March 8, 1991 in Sulphur. He enjoyed basketball and baseball. He attended the Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Randal Ray Babb and by his grandparents.
Survived by his wife: Christy Babb, 3 sons: Chase Blankenship, Carter & Cameron Babb, his father: Jack Babb of Sulphur, a sister & brother-in-law, Beverly & Keith Billings of Sulphur, many other close relatives.
Services:
Tuesday May 10 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church with interment
to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
