James Eugene Goddard, a resident of Davis was born June 28, 1933 in Pearson, Oklahoma to James Hugh & Opal Ruth (Gibson) Goddard. He passed away Friday February 12, 2010 at Davis, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years 7 months and 14 days.
He grew up in Davis, graduated from High School in 1951. After high school he served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. After his military service he graduated from East Central University with a BA Degree, and received his Masters in Chemistry from University of Colorado. He taught school in Colorado several years. He returned to Davis in 1991. He was self employed as a real estate appraiser. He married JoAnn Deen in 1956. She preceded him in death in 2002. He later married Johnnie Belle Dickson on August 22, 2002.
He was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church in Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Son Mark Eugene Goddard step-son Jack Douglas Cruce.
Survivors: Wife: Johnnie of the home. Daughters; Lynn Bart of Ardmore, Deanna Williford of Davis, Sons: James Roland Cruce of Davis, James Goddard & wife Ruth of Colorado, Grandchildren: Stephanie Shaw, Nick Goddard, Jenny Goddard, Karl Fahlbusch and Alicia Fahlbusch. 4 Great grandchildren.
Services: Tuesday February 16 at 2:00 PM at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Davis with interment in Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
