Funeral services for James Lee Copenhaver, 40 of Tuttle were held July 8, 2004, 10 a.m. at Cowley-Krien Chapel, Sulphur, Oklahoma with Rev. Mel Taylor officiating.
Mr. Copenhaver was born January 22, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Ron and Kay (Frantz) Brown and died July 4, 2004 in Grady County (near Tuttle, OK). He was born in Tulsa and raised in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He moved to Bakersfield, Calif. and lived and worked there until 1997.
He then moved back to the Sulphur area. He moved to Tuttle six months ago to work, where he lived the remainder of his life.
Mr. Copenhaver is survived by his mother and father: Kay and Ron Brown of Sulphur, Okla.; his fiance: Tammy Allspaugh; three daughters: Linda Kay and Corrie Lynn Copenhaver of Bakersfield, Calif. and Jamie Lee Copenhaver of Tecumseh, Okla.; one brother: Dennis Brown of Sulphur, Okla.
Interment in Dougherty Cemetery under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home in Sulphur. Bearers: Ronald Frantz, Mike Frantz, Ken Davis, Andy Talbert, Johnny Hines, J.D. Huddleston.
