Fred G. Spunaugle, 76, Mountain View, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005, in the Southwest Memorial Hospital, Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was born January 7, 1929, in Oswego, Kansas to George Henry and Mary (Muir) Spunaugle. He moved to Welch, Oklahoma at the age of 6 years and then moved to Mountain View in the late 1950's. He was an operator for the Oklahoma Natural Gas and Pipeline Company of America for 33 years. Fred married Twila Foreman on January 15, 1971 in Madill, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife Twila of the home; daughters, Becky Mandrell, Mountain View, Oklahoma, Cathy Foster, Mountain View, Oklahoma and Anna Jo Booker, Mountain View, Oklahoma; son, Billy Spunaugle, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Leslie, Stacy, Darin, Candace and Kristina and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2005 at the United Methodist Church, Mountain View, Oklahoma, with Dr. Cyndy Schillinger, pastor, officiating. Interment followed at the Hinton Cemetery, Hinton, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of Jack Loftiss Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
