Helen Yandell Pierce was born February 24, 1921, and died April 13, 2002.

She married Berl Doss Yandell on June 18, 1940. She lived the earlier past of her life in Oklahoma. She enjoyed going on hunting and fishing trips with her husband and sons. She would cook whatever they harvested. Her first husband died on December 19, 1967.

She married Wilson "Buck" Pierce on May 10, 1969 in Belen, N.M.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at the Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis, N.M.

She was preceded in death by one son, Dale Yandell, and one brother, Lee Austin.

She is survived by two sons, Delbert Yandell and wife Linda of Burns Flat, Okla., and Don Yandell and wife Jean of Deming, N.M.; one daughter-in-law, Cecial Yandell of Clovis, N.M.; two sisters, Devera of Burkburnett, Texas, and Kate of Fritch, Texas; one brother Karol of Borger, Texas; eight grandchildren, Bradley Yandell, Delbert Jr., Ronnie Yandell, Donna Bugerman, Dallas Yandell, Debbie Chaves, Jeremy Archeleta, and Tisha Mangold; and twelve great grandchildren. Justin Yandell, Chandra Yandell, Dylon Burgerman, Delacy Burgerman, Sawyer Yandell, Sophie Yandell, Derick Yandell, Dakota Yandell, Kyla Yandell, Kristyauna Chavis, Anthonet Mangold, and Megan Mangold.
