Carl Hinz

Carl Hinz was born on April 18, 1920 in Corn, OK and passed away on July 7, 2002 at the Great Plains Regional Hospital, at the age of 82. Carl was the son of George and Elizabeth (Horn) Hinz.

He lived his entire life in rural Washita County and attended Skelley School. Carl was a farmer.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Herold Mennonite Cemetery in Corn.

He is prededed in death by his parents, sister: Elsie Schmidt and brother: Ted Hinz.

He is survived by nephew: LaVern Schmidt and wife Ola Dean; nieces: Betty Smith, Florence Owens and husband Dean; great-nieces and nephews are Howard Schmidt, Greg Schmidt, Brian Shipp, Pattie Shipp, Monte Nickel, Cindy Dockins and Lori Burgess.
