Virginia Dell Ludwig Wohlgemuth, age 76, of Okeene, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at the Okeene Municipal Hospital. She was born on September 11, 1925 at Mathis, Texas, the daughter of Henry Ludwig and David and Tillie Bauch Clifton. She attended school in Mathis, Texas. She and Ezra Wohlgemuth were married on December 16, 1950 at Premont, Texas. They lived in Premont until 1979 when the moved to Flower Mound, Texas. After Ezra's retirement they returned to Premont, Texas. In January 2000 they moved to Okeene, Oklahoma to be near their daughter. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Premont, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Ezra Wohlgemuth of the Fairview Fellowship Home, Fairview, Oklahoma; one son, John Wohlgemuth and wife Doris of Flower Mound, Texas; one daughter, Jamie Peters and husband Bennet of Okeene, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Johnny and Larisa Wohlgemuth of Flower Mound, Texas; Alisa, James, and John Peters of Okeene, Oklahoma. Services were held on Thursday, February 28, 2002 at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Okeene, Oklahoma with Rev. Bennet Peters officiating. Burial was at the Premont Cemetery in Premont, Texas.
