Nellie Mabel Christensen, daughter of Martin and Ellen Christensen, was born at Jamestown, Kansas, June 4, 1888. She came to Okeene, Oklahoma with her parents when five years of age, where she lived until she moved to Ames, Oklahoma in 1907. She was united in marriage to W. L. Wright on July 2, 1907 and died at Enid, Oklahoma, Wednesday, August 1, 1923, at the age of 35 years, 1 month, and 27 days. The cause of her death was typhoid fever. To this union was born six children, five of whom are living, one having preceded her to the better world. She united with the Methodist Church at Okeene, and has lived a consistent Christian life. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, and leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, four sons, and one daughter, her father and mother, four brothers, and two sisters.
