Katherine (Kuxhaus Korb) Winter - Wife of Leonhart Winter, was born September 6th, 1858 in Tscherbakovka, Russia and died at her home north of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Friday, June 9, 1922. Funeral services were held at the German Congretational Church, southeast of town, June 11, 1922 and were conducted by Pastor, Rev. Kaiser. Mrs. Winter leaves to mourn her loss a host of relatives and friends. Internment was held in the cemtery adjoining the church. Mrs. Katherine Kuxhaus Winter, married Fred Korb in 1893 in Russia. Children of the Korbs are: Sufie Korb, Eva Korb, Elizabeth Korb, and Fred Korb. Mrs. Kuxhaus Korb then married Leonhart Winter and their children are: Mary Winter Sauer, Amalia (Mollie) Winter, Henry Winter (died as a baby), and Hannah Winter Durham.
