FUNERAL NOTICE - WEBER, EDWIN LAWRENCE 1914-1990
IN REMEMBRANCE - EDWIN LAWRENCE WEBER - The funeral for Edwin Lawrence Weber, 75, who died Sunday, May 13th, 1990 at Okeene Hospital, was held Tuesday, May 15th, 1990 at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charlie Graves officiating. Burial followed in the Bierig Cemetery under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary. Weber was born July 2nd, 1914, at Okeene, Oklahoma to Christ L. and Anna (Bierig) Weber. He graduated from Liberty School. On May 18th, 1935, he married Emma Haffner at Fairview, Oklahoma. He spent his life farming and worked as a surveyor and engineer for Major County. He was a member of the Okeene United Methodist Church, where he served as chairman. He also served as Chairman of the Bierig Cemetery. Edwin served 23 years as a member of the board of directors of Sooner CO-OP and was a charter member of North Blaine Water, where he served as past chairman. Survivors are his wife, Emma of the home; a daughter, Donna Matthews of Albany, New York; a son, Larry, of Choctaw, Oklahoma; a brother, Ted of Okeene, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Okeene Municipal Hospital Renovation Fund.
