IN MEMORY OF CARL RICHARD WINBURN 1907-1981
Carl Richard Winburn, 74, died Friday, May 1st, 1981 at an Enid, Oklahoma hospital. His funeral was held Tuesday, May 5th, 1981 in First Christian Church of Canton, Oklahoma with the Rev. David Derr officiating. Burial was in Mound Cemetery, Taloga, Oklahoma under the direction of Haigler Funeral Home. He was born April 4th, 1907 at Taloga, Oklahoma. He married Alice Clark June 29th, 1928 at Arapaho, Oklahoma. They lived in Taloga until 1942 when they moved to Southard, Oklahoma. He worked at U.S. Gypsum for 30 years until his retirement in 1972. His first wife died in 1966. On January 26th, 1968 he married Pearl Ream at Medicine Lodge, Kansas. They made their home in Canton, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, of Canton, Oklahoma; three brothers: Paul and Melvin, both of Taloga, Oklahoma; and George of Seiling, Oklahoma; a step-daughter, Margie Melrose of Enid, Oklahoma; five step-sons: Gerald Ream of Cherokee, Oklahoma; Floyd and Harlan Ream, both of Bakersfield, California; Morlan Ream of Enid, Oklahoma; and Gary Ream of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
