IN MEMORY OF ORVALLE T. STEWART 1909-1981
The funeral for Orvalle T. Stewart, 72, a former resident of Omega, was held Wednesday, May 27th, 1981 in the Highland Hills Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, with Dr. Jack O'Brian Poe officiating. Burial was in the Kingfisher Cemetery, under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Stewart died Sunday, May 24th, 1981 in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born February 1st, 1909 in Loveland, Texas, the son of Hiram D. and Leah (Washburn) Stewart. He and Edith Edsall were married January 17th, 1949 at Wheeler, Texas. Stewart had lived most of his life at Omega and moved to Oklahoma City 13 years ago. He was a member of the Highland Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Those who wish may make contributions to the church's Building Fund in his memory. Stewart is survived by his wife, Edith of the home; a son, Elmer Stewart of Yukon, Oklahoma; three daughters: Rose Seedorf of Carrollton, Texas; Laverne Shaw of Del City, Oklahoma; and Arlene Biehler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
