SCHNEIDER, LYDIA 1906-1995
Ramona, Kansas - The funeral for Lydia Schneider, 88, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ramona, Kanas. The Rev. Allen Woelzlein will officiate. Burial will be in the Lewis Cemetery under direction of Carlson-Becker Funeral Home of Hope, Kansas. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born May 21st, 1906, in Ramona to David and Katherine (Schneider) Beisel and died Monday, March 20th, 1995 at her home in Ramona, Kansas. She grew to womanhood in the Ramona community where she attended schools. On April 22nd, 1926, she married Henry H. Schneider. They farmed in the Ramona, Kansas area. He died August 27th, 1961. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona, the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Ramona Senior Citizens. Surviving are one son, Verdon of Romana, Kanas; two daughters: Esterlee Strom of Enid, Oklahoma; and Marjorie Coble of Salina, Kansas; one brother: Dan Beisel of Herington, Kansas; one sister, Alvina Bartel of Hillsboro, Kansas; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church or Hospice of Dickinson, Kansas.
