Mrs. Fannie Schroeder died Monday morning, December 17th, 1923 about four o'clock, from a complication of troubles due to old age. She was 78 years, 9 months, and 14 days old at the time of her death. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the German Baptist Church and interment made in the Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Scrhoeder was born in Germany but came to this country when a young lady. She and her husband came to this community about thirty years ago. She leaves an aged husband, and adopted son, her friends, and a few distant relatives to mourn her loss. As printed in the "OKEENE RECORD" Friday, December 21, 1923, Okeene, Blaine County, Oklahoma.
