Edna Schnell - Okeene - The funeral for Edna Schnell, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Okeene with the Rev. Van Herd officiating. Burial will be at Ebenfeld Cemetery under direction of Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene. Schnell died Saturday, April 24, 1993, at Okeene Hospital. She was born April 23, 1917, southeast of Okeene to Carl and Eva Rush Nusz. She attended Arapahoe School south of Okeene. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ. She married Albert Schnell on July 27, 1940. She lived all of her life in the Okeene community. She is survived by her husband, Albert; three sons, Wesley, Caren Cro., Louisiana, Jerry of Katy, Texas, and Derald, of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Raymond and Jim Nusz, of Okeene, and Roy Nusz, of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Alice Irion and Olinda McBride, Okeene, and Lena Osmus, Enid; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
