REYNOLDS, BERTHA (GRAY) 1907-2002
Funeral services for Bertha Reynolds of Elmore City, Oklahoma, were held on Wednesday, July 24th, 2002 in the Elmore City Southside Holiness Church with Rev. Charlie Rush officiating. Interment was in the Foster Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Bertha Reynolds was born August 3rd, 1907 in McCurtain County, Oklahoma to Joe and Emma (Duck) Gray, and departed this life Sunday, July 21st, 2002 in Elmore City, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years. Mrs. Reynolds grew up and attended school in McCurtain, Oklahoma. On March 19th, 1926 she married Robert H. Reynolds in Stigler, Oklahoma. Mr. & Mrs. Reynolds moved to Elmore City in May of 1927. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Southside Holiness Church and she enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, and visiting with her friends and family. Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her four sons, Ed Reynolds and his wife Virginia of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Robert Reynolds and his wife Linnie of Elmore City, Oklahoma; Luther Reynolds of Clebourne, Texas; Lonnie Reynolds and his wife Darlene of Okeene, Oklahoma; three daughters: Opal Henry and her husband Paul of Elmore City, Oklahoma; Mary Kay Hill and her husband David of Enid, Oklahoma; Evelyn Brown of Elmore City, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law Wynona Reynolds of Bakerfield, California; twenty-four grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Reynolds is preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Reynolds; one son: Jackie Reynolds; her parents: Joe and Emma Gray; two brothers, Carl and Oval Gray; three sisters: Ellie Muse, Ovie Porter, and Vesta McCurley.
