FUNERAL NOTICE - RATZLAFF, ALBERT 1891-1957
Services for Albert Ratzlaff, 58, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church in Fairview last Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. J.J. Karber officiating. Burial was in the Church of God cemetery, five miles northwest of Fairview, under the direction of the Speece Funeral Home. Mr. Ratzlaff, who lived in Fairview until 1930, died February 3, at a Wichita, Kansas hospital, after a lingering illness. Reared in Fairview, Oklahoma, he moved to Grenola, Kansas in 1930 and was living in Augusta at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Leah Unruh Ratzlaff, and daughter Norma Dean Ratzlaff, of the home; two other daughters: Mrs. Douglas (Louise) Moore, and Wilma Ratzlaff, Topeka, Kansas; two sons: Wesley Ratzlaff of Boulder, Colorado, and Willis Ratzlaff of DeSota, Kansas; four brothers: John Ratzlaff of Fairview, Jake Ratzlaff of Cactus, Arizona, Dan Ratzlaff of Lakin, Kansas, and Ben Ratzlaff of Enid; three sisters: Mrs. Susie Hiebert of Fairview, Mrs. Lizzie Wahl of Enid, and Mrs. Hulda Smith of Seattle, Washington; and five grandchildren.
