PALMER, LENORA (HUSK) 1913-2002
Funeral services for Lenora Palmer, 88, who died February 16, 2002 at the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview was held Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Ringwood with the Rev. Rick Trobaugh officiating. Burial will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery south of Ringwood. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home of Helena. Lenora was born on June 21, 1913 at Supply, Oklahoma, the daughter of Louie F. Husk, and Cecil E. Wallace Husk. She graduated from Buffalo High School. On January 6, 1934 she and William S. "Bill" Palmer were married in May, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and lived in Ringwood all of her married life where she was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sons: Gary Palmer and wife, Ginger of Heavner, Oklahoma, and Frank Palmer and wife Tina of Ringwood, Oklahoma; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Rutledge of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 1993 and one brother, Monroe. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research, Alzheimers Division through Lanman Funeral Home.
