IN MEMORY OF EDNA GERTRUDE (KLUBER) ODELL 1906-1981
Funeral services are scheduled for today (Thursday), Jul y 23rd, 1981 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church for Edna Gertrude Odell, 75, who died Monday, July 20th, 1981, following a brief illness. Robert E. Davis, pastor of the church, will officiate and interment will be in the Eagle City Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, Oklahoma. Mrs. Odell was born to Carl and Christine (Carstensen) Kluber, May 4th, 1906 in Olympia, Washington, and later moved to Oklahoma where she attended schools in Hinton, Fay, and Eagle City, Oklahoma. She married Albert F. (Pete) Odell on December 4th, 1926 at Hitchcock. She was a member of the Watonga Christian Church where she served in many capacities. She was a retired employee of the Watonga Cheese Factory where she had worked since the 1940's. Mrs. Odell was preceded in death by her husband on October 22nd, 1940, and other family members. Survivors include her two sons, Albert Odell of Beaumont, Texas and Calvin Odell of Noble, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Albert, Martha, and Scott Odell of Beaumont, Texas; and Kelly, Pete, and Jackie Odell of Noble, Oklahoma, and a sister, Irene Fakas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
