NUSS, WILBERT E. (WILLIE) 1931-1996
Olmitz, Kansas - Wilbert E. "Willie" Nuss, 64, died February 22nd, 1996 at his home. He was born June 17th, 1931 at Olmitz, Kansas, the son of Emanuel Jr. and Caroline (Karst) Nuss. A lifetime Barton County resident, he was an electronic technician with ITT. He was a member of the United Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Millberger, Kansas, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3111, the American Legion Post No. 180 and the Eagles Lodge No. 646, all at Great Bend, Kansas. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include two sons: Bradley of Carson City, Nevada; and Todd of Olmitz, Kansas; a brother, Ralph of Great Bend, Kansas; and a sister Leafa Krug of McPherson, Kansas. Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, Kansas. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the United Emanuel Lutheran Church, Milberger, with Pastor Carl W. Dietz presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hosington, and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Hoisington Cemetery with military graveside rites. Memorials may be sent to the United Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Milberger, Kansas.
