OKEENE - The graveside service for Viola Christine Nusz, 76, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary. She was born May 12, 1923, at Tishomingo to Bert and Mary Redding and died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at the Okeene Municipal Hospital. She married Raymond Nusz on January 27, 1944, at Watonga. She was a member of St. John Church of Christ in Okeene. She served as a Sunday school teacher. She worked many years as a clerk at West Acres Grocery and on the Blaine County Election Board. She is survived by her husband, Raymond, of the home; one son, J.R. of Carpenter, Wyoming; one daughter, Marilyn Walton of Okeene; one sister, Marcelious Schultz of Okeene; one brother, Link Redding of Wheatland, Wyoming; and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by a brother. Memorials can be made to Okeene Hospital Foundation, the Okeene Emergency Medical Service Board or Okeene United Methodist Church.
