Funeral services for Sam Nusz, 76, 209 E. Hackberry, were at 10:00 a.m. today in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James T. Bently officiating. Burial was in the Enid Cemetery. Nusz died Thursday evening in a local nursing home following a short illness. Born in Okeene, he moved at an early age with his parents Alex and Rachel Nusz, to Bliss where he attended area schools. On July 10, 1953, he married Carrie Fore in Enid where they had resided since. He was self-employed and retired in 1973. He was a member of the Wheat Capital Citizens Band Radio Club and the Garfield County Nutrition Center. Survivors include his wife, Carrie, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. James (Inez) Webb, Ripley, Tennessee; one sister, Martha Nusz Roberts, Enid; one brother, George Nusz, Enid; four grandchildren.
