NUSZ, MOLLIE (BLEHM) 1872-1928
MRS. NUSZ DIES FOLLOWING OPERATION:
Mrs. George Nusz died at the Holcombe Hospital, Saturday October 6th following an operation for Appendicitus, the Wednesday before. The Appendix had ruptured and although everything possible was done, medical science proved to no avail. Mrs. Nusz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blehm, was born in Scherbikofks, Gov. Saratov, Russia, February 11, 1872. In 1885, she, with her brother and two sisters came to America and joined another sister who had come before. They made their home in LeHigh, Kansas. On May 4, 1889, she was married to George Nusz of Marion, Kansas. This union was blessed with eleven children: four sons and seven daughters, of whom, one son and one daughter preceded her in death. In 1898 she moved with her family to Okeene, where she resided at the time of her death, October 6th, her age being 56 years, 7 months, and 24 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, three sons, six daughters, nine grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Haas of Texas, and many friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, at the Zion Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor Rev. J. E. Ehrhorn, assisted by Rev. F. Schweiger. Internment was made in the Peaceful Cemetery. R.
