OKEENE - The funeral for Lilly Nusz, 86, was held Saturday, February 21, 1998 at Wilkinson Mortuary with the Rev. Matt and Della Beers officiating. Burial was in the Bierig Cemetery. Wilkinson was in charge of arrangements. She was born December 23rd, 1912, at Isabella to Frank and Elizabeth (Hill) Rade and died Wednesday, February 18th, 1998 at the Okeene Hospital. She was a resident of the Okeene community all her life, where she attended Deep Creek School and was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. She married Sam Nusz at Enid in 1929. She is survived by one daughter, Janice Laubach of Okeene, Oklahoma; one sister, Hannah Smith of Sutter Creek, California; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
