Herman Nuss, Dorrance. The funeral for Herman Nuss, 78, Dorrance, will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Stiles Mortuary, Wilson, Kansas. The Rev. John Kehr officiating. Burial will be in the Dorrance Cemetery. Mr. Nuss died Thursday, at the Russell County Hospital at Russell, Kansas. He was born February 11, 1895 at Durham, and later moved to Dorrance where he was an employee of the Russell County Highway Department. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the American Legion, Wilson, Kansas. Survivors are the widow: Mollie of the home; a son, Clarence, of Leavenworth, Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. June Dodd of Lakeside, California; 2 brothers, Rueben of Dorrance, Kansas and Ezra of Wilson, Kansas; 2 sisters: Mrs. Clara Miller of Lyons, Kansas; and Mrs. Anna Stroh of Wilson, Kansas; and 4 grandchildren.
