My dear husband, our father and brother Henry Nusz, was born May 24, 1925, to John and Sarah Penner Nusz at Orienta, Oklahoma. He suddenly departed this life and went to be with his wonderful Saviour January 20, 1979, at his home near ElDorado, Kansas while choring. Death was due to heart complications. He reached the age of 53 years, 7 months, and 26 days. He life was spent in Oklahoma and Kansas, where he received his education. At the age of sixteen, it became apparent that he had a heart ailment and was bedfast most of the next six years. During this illness, at the age of seventeen, Henry was saved and shortly afterwards was baptized. During his illness, he enjoyed helping his brothers and sisters with their school work. His father was a man of prayer and prayed often for and with his son. Henry began doing odd jobs to help regain his strength and by 1953 begun the occupation of custom harvesting. He had this occupation for nine-years. He has many friends because of his kind and patient dispostion. His Sundays were spent in worship to God. In later years were spent as a farmer and stockman. On April 13, 1968, he was united in marriage to me, Margaret Leigh Luther. This union was blessed with three daughters. We shared life's joys and sorrows for about eleven years. Henry spent many hours reading the Bible, especially enjoying the German Bible and songs. His family had high regards and respect for his sincerity.
